Jason Green
A key part of the Fort Smith region's economic development strategy is focused on manufacturing, healthcare and information technology, industries which represents a significant number of jobs and GDP in this region. To support the expansion of current businesses, as well as attract new businesses, the infrastructure we offer must include a continuous pipeline of new talent skilled in innovative and progressive processes. Through a collaborative effort from key stakeholders around the community, developing this pipeline will truly differentiate our region and our state and position us for long-term growth and success.
Bio
Jason Green is the Vice President Human Resources at ABB / Baldor. Prior to joining ABB / Baldor in 2007, he worked for Hallmark Cards, Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri for 15 years in a variety of Human Resources positions. Jason is a native of Fort Smith, attended Fort Smith Public Schools and earned a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Arkansas and a MBA from Washburn University.
He and his wife, Kim, have four children and reside in Fort Smith, where he is active on a number of boards and volunteers with several non-profit organizations.
