The 3rd Annual "Read.Write.Share" Writer's Workshop & Luncheon
The 3rd Annual “Read, Write, Share Writer’s Workshop & Luncheon” is returning to Fort Smith October 13, 2018. This one-day writers’ workshop is for authors, writers, and individuals who are interested in learning about memoir writing and techniques used in writing children’s books. Published authors and non-profit groups are invited to participate in the “Book Fair and Exhibit.” Ms. Hannah C. Hall, bestselling author, award-winning blogger, and speaker. Ms. Hall has published thirteen books for children including the Christian Book Award finalist and Focus on the Family top 10 Picture book Would a Worm Go on a Walk? and the popular God Bless series, which has topped half a million in sales and include multiple ECPA bestsellers. The day will include 1) Introductory “Sharing Our Writing Journeys,” 2) Best practices on Show “Don’t” Tell 3) Keynote address and luncheon: Improving Your Use of Rhyme in Picture Books and Board Books; 3) “Dancing with Dandelions” presentation; 4) The authors and book exhibitors will conduct a book signing at the conclusion of the workshop.
