BHC Insurance: Customer Service Representative- Commercial Lines
The Customer Service Representative Assistant will perform the essential duties of this position, which include working closely with the CSR and Producer in servicing a book of business. Make BHC Insurance the best in our business
Duties
- Answer incoming customer calls and emails promptly and professionally
- Follow-up on activities and correspondence to insure the client’s needs are satisfied.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately in the system
- Handles normal account service activity including endorsements, audits, invoicing, certificates of insurance, evidence of property, claims, etc.
- Utilize phone etiquette to ensure positive customer interactions
- Conduct data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Assist CSR as directed.
- Performs functions on EPIC Management System proficiently.
-Processes, maintains, and prepares new and renewal accounts for marketing, placement, and delivery to producers or clients as directed.
-Develop and maintain a positive relationship and rapport with each insurance carrier to satisfy our clients’ needs and facilitate the processing of business.
-Continued education in insurance knowledge through agency approved courses or programs.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Proficiency in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience in sales or customer service is advantageous
