About Us
Serious Fiber is Fort Smith’s only yarn and fiber shop. Founded to serve knitters, crocheters, spinners, and fiber artists, we provide an exceptional selection of natural and art yarns. Hand-dyed batches from independent dyers alongside commercial lines and High-quality knitting and crochet tools. Our shop also stocks a small selection of spinning fibers and spindles.
As the inaugural winner of the Fort Smith Commerce Collective business incubator program, Serious Fiber will strive to take advantage of this amazing opportunity and help with the Main Street Fort Smith goal of creating a vibrant downtown by offering classes and workshops for all skill levels—drop-in help, structured multi-week courses, and focused technique intensives—plus private consultations for custom projects and commission dye work. Regular meetups, knit nights, and maker events foster skills sharing and creative collaboration.
